Best sportsbook at hotel with......

.......high-speed internet? I haven%26#39;t been down in 5-6 years %26amp; am a bit surprised at the room rates in the fall. However, I%26#39;m still planning a trip down but seem to remember that neither the SL, Eldorado, or Fitzy%26#39;s had much for sportsbooks. I don%26#39;t hit the tables that much........mostly just bet on football.........something that our govt. is trying to save me from doing online. But I still need a high-speed connection.

I%26#39;ve heard the Peppermill has a decent book but it doesn%26#39;t look like it%26#39;s a good place to stay at this time..............suggestions?

No suggestions?

How about just a good sportsbook?

Don%26#39;t know about the connections (which is why I didn%26#39;t post), but the Peppermill and the Grand Sierra have the best sports books, in my opinion.

My father and all his golfing buddies like the new and improved Peppermill.

Thanks for the help...........think I%26#39;ll try the GS. If it%26#39;s newer it may have all I need.

Muggsly: the Peppermill does have a very nice (new) sportsbook with an awful lot of high-def screens. They%26#39;ve put a lot of money into it and it definitely shows. I haven%26#39;t been to the GS so can%26#39;t speak for that but it would be worth it to take a ride to the PM. I do know that the GS is in the process of remodeling, so some of their restaurants, rooms and other facilities may be dated, while others may be brand new. PM is expanding but I%26#39;ve never thought of their facility as being dated.
