Mandalay Bay Pool

I hear so many great things about the MB pool.....but will it be too crowded to really enjoy? GOin Wed/Thur of next week. Thanks.

It will be fine, the grounds are huge and in my opinion the best pool area LV has to offer, many pools during the summer especially on weekends do fill up to some capacity. Mandalay should not be as bad as most others.

I loved the pool at MB, one great thing they have is the flag on your chair. Raise the flag and the waitress knows you are really for another one, she comes running over. Yippee, get that frozen lemonade right away!

Weds %26amp; Thurs you will be fine. The beach does not have much shade so it will be semi empty and the others will be wide open. Sept it will pick up on conventions and hoilday.

I have been to MB 4 times per year since it opened in 1999. Get down to the pool early when it opens, say 9 am. Stake out a spot on the beach and at the wave pool near the new casino at the pool area.

It will be crowded but the people watching will be awesome. For lunch, head over to the Border Grill outside of the pool area and get a table on the patio in the shade. Swimsuits and a cover-up or shirt will be fine. It will be a nice break from the sun.
