pools

what%26#39;s the best pool for adults, besides the hard rock

pools

Flamingo, Mirage, Caesar%26#39;s, Mandalay Bay and MGM all have nice pools. All depends on what you%26#39;re looking for. Stratosphere, Mandalay Bay, Caesar%26#39;s and MGM all have Adult Pools, women are allowed to be topless at them.

any pools open 24 hours?

Hey!

First time Vegas Trip planned for Halloween weekend.

Am also looking for a great pool before I book hotel.

To me, that doesn%26#39;t mean big -- it means open!!!!

So far, all the pool hours I%26#39;ve checked are lame. Closing at 6, or 8pm. Some say ';seasonal';. What?

So I%26#39;ll re-ask the question: any hotels with 24-hour pools? Or at least midnight?

Besides phoning each one, how to know what will be open in late October?

Thanks

I don%26#39;t believe there are any pools open 24 hours, let alone past maybe 7 or 8 pm. I always thought it strange that the pools close so early in Las Vegas.

Even in the summer when it is well over 100 degrees (or for us Canadians, well over 40 C) the pools close early. Most other places I%26#39;ve ever traveled will keep their pools open till usually 10 P.M.

No 24 hour pools that I know of. I agree it would be nice to have pools open at night, but oh well. You didn%26#39;t come all the way to Las Vegas to spend your whole time in a pool anyway. They would rather have you out gambling at night when the table minimums are higher :)

This site has information about pools and when they are open:

The pools aren%26#39;t open late because (1), they want you in the casino spending money and (2), they don%26#39;t want drunk people drowning in the pools at night.

Diva, I thought of that safety issue, but I don%26#39;t buy it. If the pools are properly lit and staffed then they are no more dangerous than in the daytime, when a drunk can just as easily drown themselves.

Now, maybe they don%26#39;t want to pay the expense of lighting and staffing the pools at night, but that seems like a drop in the bucket compared to their operating expenses.

Diva hit it on the nose....the casinos are making any money with you swimming in the pool day %26amp; night.

I get the point that the casinos want you in the casino spending money, but most of the time I notice (including myself) that many people stay up very late in the casinos, usually sleep in a bit and like to relax, shop or stroll around during the day. The casinos don%26#39;t usually start hopping till 9 or later anyway. It would be nice to lay around the pool with a few drinks till 8 or 9 before going out.

I%26#39;m not sure about anyone else...........but even if I had unlimited resources, I think it would get boring gambling ALL day long. Am I wrong??
