Best vegas pool on a budget

I love the pool at Mandalay and usually stay at THEhotel, Mandalay Bay or the Venetian. This trip I can not afford the highend hotels but would still like to enjoy a beautiful clean pool to relax during the day.

Can anyone suggest any options. Perhaps one of the new hotels far from the strip (what about South Point%26#39;s pool or MGM%26#39;s). I have never stayed at places like Flamingos, Harrahs, Montecarlo, Rio etc. I am a bit of clean freak and they dont seem to be well-kept, is this so?

Um, you don%26#39;t know what you%26#39;re talking about. Rio is as clean as anyplace in Vegas, and its pools are a heck of a lot cleaner than Mandalay Bay, plus the rooms are bigger.

So your suggestion for a very nice pool is the Rio%26#39;s?

And Monte Carlo is very nice as well.

Depending on when you%26#39;re coming - MGM has s very large pool complex and there are lots of specials right now - rooms for $70. Some people have said the pool was bad - but most enjoy it - its rated highly here. South Point has a fairly small pool, but its clean and relatively new (about 2 years old). I%26#39;ve never been to Harrahs or Flamingo so cant comment.

The Trop has a great pool, but the only room I%26#39;d stay in there is in the Paradise tower.

Based on the places you have stayed in the past, I think Rio offers you the nicest rooms along with good pools. Some of the other places (Mirage, MGM) have even better pools, but the rooms are more standard - not bad, but not like what you%26#39;re used to.

best pools at places that sometimes offer low rates;

MGM, MonteCarlo, Rio, Flamingo.(in that order) They are very well kept, i have stayed at all of them during the last 3 months

I like the pool at the Flamingo and service there was great. Rio is nice too, we just seemed to have more fun at Flamingo pool.

are you confusing run down for well kept? The rooms that I have been in at Flamingo MC and Rio are outdated but they are clean.

Althourgh Rio has been updating rooms

Out of them this would be the order that I would choose

1)Flamingo

2)Rio

3) MC

Only reason MC is #3 is that the City Center Construction noise can be unbearbale at times.
