Started off the trip right with a pint of adult beverage at the airport in San Jose CA waiting for my Southwest flight traveling with a guy friend who would be sleeping on the couch for the night until he checked into the Imperial Palace on Friday morning. Flight was fine until we came into land. I have always approached and landed the same in Vegas and this time the pilot must have been bored or knew of some new anti-turbulance tecnique and we did a few sharp turns then came in so fast to land that I didn%26#39;t think we would stop in time but we did! We landed around 2pm LV time. Checked into the Platinum hotel (my report on that is in my #1 post) took shower got dressed and headed to Grande Luxe Cafe at Venetian had the half sandwich special with soup...sooooo good I love this place. This ended up being the last thing I ate until 1130am the next day. My friend and I gambled about $100 each away at Venetian on various things then decided to walk over and check out his soon to be home the Imperial Palace. Of course we had drinks with our dinner and drinks on the casino floor so we were ready for more drinks! We are not shocked by the appearance of his soon to be home and decide to go down the street to Margaritaville for some overpriced drinks. We were there a few hours and I got restless needed to play some poker so went across the street to Mirage and played some 7 card stud for a couple of hours then decided it was time to go back change and get ready for dancing. The rest of the night is a blur but went to Voodoo lounge drank more and got home early around 230am and went to bed. Will write more later...
