Airport hotels - any recomendation? first time to LV

It%26#39;s hard to tell which hotels are close to the airport. We are driving from visiting the Grand Canyon to fly out of LV. Been looking at TA hotel reviews, but can%26#39;t tell which are close to airport.

Looking for l night in a clean, safe hotel close to airport for early AM flight.

Thanks.

If you are looking to stay at on the Strip, the ones at the south end are quite close to the airport, ie. MGM, Luxor...

Most of all the strip hotels are only about 10-15 min from the airport, how close do you need to be??

We are really looking just for a room for the night. Are those hotels as close to the airport as ones located at the airport? The problem is we don%26#39;t know what hotels are AT the airport.

Thanks.

the closest to the airport are MOTELS and they are not worth the money no matter what they charge just stay near lv blvd and trop and you can be at the airport in 5-10 minutes

I think my cab ride from the MGM to the airport cost about 8 bucks if that gives you any idea (you can easily watch planes land from the hotel itself)....

The airport is easy to get to from just about any hotel on the strip or off strip east or south.

Stay at Hooters. It%26#39;s not a motel, but it%26#39;s cheap and very close to the airport.

You might know this but.......

The strip is 5 to 10 minutes from the airport, so most of the hotels are close to the Airport.

The group that is closest is MGM, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, Hooters and the Tropicana. The cheapest would be Tropicana and Excalibur . Hooters is new and maybe cleaner.

A lot of big cities have Airport Hotels, no need in Vegas because the strip is so close to Airport.

If you are coming during a weekday, then the Orleans or Gold Coast have good prices. (off-strip) and still about 10 minutes from Airport.

TripAdvisor has a map feature in the hotels section. You can center the map around the airport to see what is close and then cross-reference the reviews. However, you probably won%26#39;t want to stay in them after you read them. Early AM, its a ten minute cab ride from center strip to the airport so I would make a safer choice from the strip.

Terribles is east of the strip and east access to the airport, and is less expensive than the strip hotels in case you want to check into it as an option.
