After HugosMermaids is downtown on Fremont St....you can%26#39;t miss it!! Head towards the plaza and it will be on your right hand side. This is the place that has the fried ';everything'; twinkies, oreos, etc.
Also check out La Bayou (which is on the left side heading towards the Plaza) and stop in here for a slushy drink!!
There are many fun casinos downtown....just let your feet lead you to the next one!
You could also go in the Golden Nugget and go check out the new shark tank pool and have a drink poolside in the evening!
After HugosFirst let me say it%26#39;s nothing like Dayton or Bridgewater. Not one black buggy in site. 8-)
The great thing about Downtown is there is lots to see and do all within a short walking distance. Besides the above mentioned, there are lots of kiosks and little shops to buy inexpensive Vegas trinkets for friends and family, the Vue bar upstairs at Fitzgeralds where you can go outside on the balcony and people watch while sipping a drink, micro brewed beers at the 777 Brew Pub at Main Street Station and of course just walking around and checking out the various casinos.
