The airport is very close to the strip, in fact you can see the strip easily from the lounges and runways. The best way to the strip if you are not renting a car is taxi.

If you stay on the strip get a taxi - if you stay further out probably as well to book a hire car

This is good infor to know! I booked a room at the Embassy Suites by the airport for Friday/Saturday cause the strip rates were ridiculous!

I thought that Embassy Suites was up by the Convention Center.

There is an Embassy by the convention centere but this one is the embassy suites las vegas airport.
