Hey
does anyone know if the Mirage has an indoor pool i am visiting vegas over the Christmas holidays and we are bringing the family with us. I know most of the pools are heated but i just wondered if any of the hotels have indoor swimming pools.
Indoor swimming poolNo indoor pool at Mirage.
The only option on the Strip is the Tropicana who partition off a section of the pool so that it%26#39;s in effect indoors. There%26#39;s a few places off-Strip places such as the Platinum that have indoor pools.
Indoor swimming poolNot really- there is an indoor pool at one Embassy Suites in town- but it is off the Strip and not likely a convenient , desirable place for you. The Tropicana is said to have a ';partially indoor'; pool, but it has been so long since I have been there I don%26#39;t recall how ';enclosed'; that is ( most agree the Tropicana is a lousy rundown hotel, one of the shabbiest on the Strip).
Even if some of the outdoor pools are heated, I doubt you would want to go swimming in Las Vegas in December- the air when you come out would be way too cold and it would be quite unpleasant, even for someone accustomed to colder climates.
I swam in the heated Venetian Pools in November. It was chilly upon getting out, but we brought down a robe from our room and it was fine. It%26#39;s nothing compared to the wid-winter hot tub to house run in the snow you do in Colorado.;) However, being from a warmer climate, it%26#39;ll probably be too chilly for you.
I%26#39;m almost sure that the Hilton has an indoor pool.
Only option is Tropicanna if they are still in bis then, Ameri-Suites, Embassy Suites, and a couple of Holiday Inns. None what so ever on the strip or Hilton LV.
