monte carlo

I will be going to vegas for 7 days in july, right now I can book a room for$713.00 on monte carlos web site is that a good deal or should I wait until summer gets closer.

You%26#39;re looking at $118/night which is pretty good, so I%26#39;d reserve it. The sooner you get to summer, the more the rates shoot up.

I don%26#39;t know that it is a very good deal. I have seen mid-week rates of about $69. On the other hand, I suppose the Friday and Saturday it goes way up, making the average nightly rate go up as well. Still, I bet you can get better by calling them directly or waiting. I think they are offering winter specials right now and have just got rack rates (highest rates) posted right now.

If you book directly with the hotel you can always cancel and rebook if they offer a better deal or you find a better deal somewhere else. I often end up changing things around several times before I get there.

That%26#39;s not a bad deal at all if it%26#39;s 7 nights (and not 6 nights and 7 days). I%26#39;d book it -- especially if it%26#39;s during the first two weeks of July when the World Series of Poker will be at the Rio and might have an impact.

Also I don%26#39;t think that%26#39;s rack rates -- if you want to see rack rates go to the Harrah%26#39;s website where 7 nights in July booked now will probably run you $1200.

Canyon,

I would book it for now and continue to check out other sites to see if you could get a lower rate. REMEMBER, to check their cancellation policy, but I think if you look around you could. Try tripadvisor and see if one of their carriers may be able to get you a lower rate as you get closer to that date. I%26#39;ve stayed at Monte Carlo and enjoyed the hotel and casino.

I%26#39;d book it now.

At time of reservation, they will charge your card for the first night (including tax), and you can cancel up to 48 hours before your arrival. You will lose no money doing this, as long as you do not cancel within the 48 hours.

It gives you time to see if the rate goes down. They may run a special, and at that time, you can change it. If you use an online reservation system (not the hotel), look for stiffer cancellation policy and maybe a booking fee.

Go for it! I think it%26#39;s a pretty good rate, and you have nothing to lose.

I reserved a room at MC back in November for March. Average nightly rate then, $89. Now it is up to $129/$179 on their site. I%26#39;m grateful I went ahead and reserved early. Sounds like a nice place. Enjoy

i stayed here twice in 2004,,we love it for the price,,go ahead and book it,, they will match any other online deal, i would never book through discounter sites, monte carlo will match and if you have any problems you deal directly with the hotel,,ever try calling expedia when there is a problem,, cant tell you how many times i have heard the front desk people say thers nothing i can do,you didnt make the reservations through us,,good luck
