Golden Nugget Rooms

Has anyone ever stayed in a room other then a deluxe room at this hotel? is one tower better then the other or nicer?

The rooms I%26#39;ve had in both towers were nearly identical with same layout, appointments, etc. The North Tower room may have been incrementally nicer, hard to recall, but that%26#39;s not to say the South Tower room weren%26#39;t nice themselves.

I%26#39;ve never had the opportunity to stay in a Nugget suite. I prefer the North Tower only because it%26#39;s closer to everything. It%26#39;s a bit of a walk getting to the South Tower elevators.

Hi Slacker....we stayed in a mini-suite in the North Tower in June, and we thought it was great!!! The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate area with a sink for putting on make-up plus there was a sink in the bathroom.

There were 2 chairs and a table, the armoire with the TV inside.

The only possible negative aspect is the location would be by the Fremont Street Canopy. Since we weren%26#39;t back in our room until after the last light show, I am not sure how loud it would be...but I am sure it would be heard in that room.

I think one advantage of the South Tower rooms would be the location being away from Fremont Street and the sound.
