My husband and I have never been to Vegas (kind of obvious from the question...I know). We leave tomorrow afternoon and everyone tells me that we should do the ';Freemont Experience';. Should we and how do we get there from the Flamingo? Thank you.

You can either take the Deuce, which is the local bus, or take a cab. It%26#39;s a straight shot north on the strip. Some people don%26#39;t care for the bus. i didn%26#39;t find it that terrible but you may just prefer to cab it.

Take the deuce and have a nice prime rib dinner at the Golden Gate for $6.95 then enjoy the light show in the evening. Love downtown. We%26#39;re leaving in 27 days. Whooohooo. Have a great time!
Most cab drivers will use the interstate...approx. $20.That%26#39;s how we got there two out of three times we went. Another time, the driver went straight through a not so nice part of town north of the strip. Sorry, I don%26#39;t remember the price of that one.
Whenever taking a cab, ask for the most direct route. That%26#39;s the cheapest way to go.
