Las Vegas New Year 2007-02-11

OK I know it鈥檚 early but blimey, trying to book a decent room in Vegas for this New Year has been tricky

We fly in from UK on the 30th Dec so with a bit of luck (jet lag) we will be able to see the New Year in at midnight USA time

We have booked a hotel now 鈥?thanks to Trip Advisor forum recommends.

The question is where the best place in Vegas to see the New Year in is.

Is it the strip?

Billagio fountains?

Any advice would be much appreciated

I know its ten months off 鈥︹€︹€︹€?/p>

Thanks Mike

Last NYE I stayed at the Paris which is about the middle of the stip. They block off the whole strip so the people can be out in the streets during the countdown to midnight. We just went in the streets and watched the fireworks but there are a lot of clubs %26amp; casinos that have parties - they tend to get a little pricey though. I had a blast %26amp; will probably go again this year. Have fun.

We stayed at Ballys for NYE and went to a party at Risque at Paris for the evening. That was a good place to watch the fireworks, as it is centrally located.

It is a great idea to plan very, very early.

Nice one

I don%26#39;t think we will be up for a party as our body clocks will still be on UK time at midnight - that%26#39;s 8am !!!!!!!!!!!

But we do fancy the fireworks

I imagine anywhere on the strip we will be able to see them or even off the strip

Cheers

Mike

If you are out there on NYE %26amp; you see a tired Limey getting dragged round say Hi cos it鈥檚 likely to be me

Well we have booked it %26amp; we will be in Vegas for NYE

Any suggestions as to the best place to watch the fireworks
