Mandalay Bay Beach

Hi folks. I noticed the Go Go%26#39;s are coming to Mandalay Bay Beach when we will be in Vegas. Does anyone know how that ';venue'; is for a concert. Is it all sand, no chairs anywhere, completely standing room?

Saw Pat Benatar July 4th, seating is on the sandy beach, Mandalay Bay does provide towels for sitting...If you like, you can wade in the water, just below the stage...Although there is a grille restaurant to eat, the lines are ridiculously long and slow, make plans to eat prior to or after concert...Full service bars are also long and slow, you can get beer from a stand alone beer vendor...A nice venue for a retro concert...Enjoy!!!

Thanks Dukes...I guess what I%26#39;m asking is that I cant imagine everyone ';sitting/lying'; on the sand during a show...I would inagine most everyone is standing. I ask this because my wife cant stand for long periods. I was wondering if there are any spots that may have seating and you can still see the stage.

For the most part everyone is sitting in the sand. There is also a few curb type areas in which to sit...I guess you could also sit in the restaurant area and still see the stage...The only individuals standing are wading in the water near the stage...If you go to Mandalay Bay%26#39;s web site, I%26#39;m sure there are some pictures of the beach area...
