Vegas Wedding

Help, Getting married in two mths and need advice on what to do about the cermony. If you have been married or attended a wedding LV

Would you recommend the location - what was good/ not so good

How was it organised

Cost

Any advise/help is very much appreciated!

Vegas Wedding

I got married at the Venetian in May 2006, I loved the location, great service from the wedding planners and reception people. My package on the Bridge in St. Marks Square started at 2200.00. I suggest you choose your location, on the chapel, venue, not by packages, or price, in the long run you will be more secure in you desicion. If there is not a package you like, talk to the planners they can always add on services, or items to your package.

Vegas Wedding

Weddings in LV cover a vast spectrum of styles, costs and just about everything else. You could get that many different replies to your question that you%26#39;ll end up more confused than you are now!

You should give us a few more details about just what you%26#39;re looking for. Do you want a romantic and %26#39;serious%26#39; ceremony or do you want something a little more relaxed and fun. Do you want to get married at one of the hotels%26#39; own chapels or would you prefer something independent of a hotel? How many guests will be there and are you looking at having a reception afterwards? Perhaps most importantly, how much do you want to spend?

Tell us a bit more and you%26#39;ll get good advice. You%26#39;ve not got that much time so start planning before it%26#39;s too late. And yes, congratulations!

Hi

I was married in one of the two chapels at TI - the service was fantastic, and very reasonably priced.

I just went to my friends wedding at Paris LV and it was a medium sized wedding in a very nice chapel. They said it was just like the movie ';The Wedding Planner';. All the behind the scenes people had headsets and it was very professionally done. They told me that there were all sizes of wedding packages available when they were first checking into it. I think that all the Hotel Casinos have accomidations for wedding, and you can always hit one of the stand alone chapels in LV.

Best Wishes

Jeff, Tampa

we got married in the little chapel of flowers last year, we booked through virgin holidays in the uk, package cost approx £400 and included limo to and from chapel, bouquet for bride, button hole for groom, 16 photos, DVD of ceremony and ceremony broadcast on internet for 24hrs afterwards, photos on chapel website afterwards for family, friends to view, gratuity for chapel staff and limo driver although we did still tip driver and our photographer ourselves too, it doesn%26#39;t include $55 for marriage license which you have to get yourselves from license bureau the day before.

I would thoroughly recommend the chapel, it is a really nice setting, looks good in photos. you get a choice of civil or religious ceremony. you can choose from 3 chapels or 2 outdoor settings

this is chapel website www.littlechapel.com

Virgin were great and extremely helpful, they give you a wedding co-ordinator who you can call or email to arrange any special requests etc

details are on virgin holidays website in the wedding section

hope this helps

Wow, thanks for all the replies!!

Well so far

There will be seven of us inc Bride and Groom.

We will stay a the Bellagio 4 x nites but not sure about having the wedding there as well - Cost!!

Thought about Grand Canyon but as there are 7 we would need two helicoptors Cost!!

So thinking about chapel followed by dinner somewhere (maybe back to Hotel??

Photo by Vegas sign on way back that is as tacky as it would get sorry Elvis booking not required.

All suggestions/advise /words of wisdom greatly appreciated!

Hi - We got married in May this year at the Bali Hai Golf Resort. It was beautiful. Palm trees, white sands, clear blue water. We didn%26#39;t want a tacky wedding either. There were just the two of us and we used Always and Forever weddings as they provided the limo/flowers/location/minister/witnesses/photos and video for a reasonable price.

I booked everything online and phoned them a couple of times to check things. They were extremely helpful.

The day was perfect.

The only thing I would say is that this resort is right by the airport so you will get some noise, but it certainly didn%26#39;t spoil our day.

We got married at 3pm and had photos taken during and after the ceremony.

In the evening we hired another limo (we used Lucky Limos) and another photographer (Todd Wilson - www.wilsonphoto.20m.com)

He was excellent. We had a 2 hour tour of Vegas and had our photo taken in loads of different locations, including the Vegas Sign, the Bellagio, the Flamingo (they even let us have pics taken at the blackjack table).

I also found www.theknot.com very helpful.

Good luck with your wedding.

My husband and me got married in Valley of Fire in May 2006 and we absolutely loved it!!

The red sand, the formations and the feeling of being the only ones out there was so special.

It was already quite hot (about 90 degrees) but windy so my makeup stayed in place:)

We booked everything thru Vegas Wedding Chapel and they arranged it perfectly - the only problem was that we got to pay a bit more than expected for our wedding photos because of a misunderstanding.

I think we paid about 1750$ for the whole package.

I had James from tThe Glamsquad to do my hair and makeup and he came to the hotel room and he’s really good at what he does!!

I have some photos from our wedding on our homepage - its in Swedish but you can see the pictures from the wedding there.

hi there - we got married at the Bellagio last year and it was fantastic. However, if you%26#39;d rather go for one of the independents, I really liked the Graceland Wedding Chapel, Little Chapel of the Flowers and Little Church of the West.

The website below lets you browse every chapel in Las Vegas and search every wedding package by cost, so this might also help you narrow down your options:

Good luck!
