Can anyone, through experience, let me know how busy Las Vegas gets during the World Series of Poker? I%26#39;m going in July of this year. I understand that July is a relatively slow time of the year in Vegas, but I was just wondering how much busier it gets during the World Series of Poker? I believe the World Series runs from June through Mid July. It will be held at the Rio and Binion%26#39;s. Should I be okay if I don%26#39;t stay in either one of these hotels? Thanks!

I haven%26#39;t actually been during the main event but I can%26#39;t imagine that it will make much difference. Even if they get the 5000 players they expect this year, that is just a drop in the bucket for Vegas. For example, the CES show is going on this week and that draws about 115,000 people.
