Bally's, Flamingo or TI?

I%26#39;m looking for a hotel for my upcoming visit with my wife. We%26#39;re in our late twenties and are Vegas newbies. We just want a clean and comfortable room near the heart of the action.

Bally's, Flamingo or TI?

If a good pool is important to you then definitely Flamingo. If not then I%26#39;d opt for TI.

Bally's, Flamingo or TI?

Hubby and I like Bally%26#39;s, though we%26#39;ve never stayed at the other two. We are in our mid/late twenties, also. I love the location, and we%26#39;ve never had a problem with it being dirty or uncomfortable. The casino%26#39;s fairly small so it%26#39;s easy to navigate. Flamingo is in just about as good a location, though. It%26#39;s just across from Bally%26#39;s.

1. Bally%26#39;s

2. Flamingo

3. TI

When is ';upcoming';? Timing is everything.

TI isn%26#39;t near the heart of anything.

True Stratton, but of the three listed, TI is the nicest hotel. Flamingo wins for pool out of the three places and Bally%26#39;s and Flamingo tie for location....so I%26#39;d say a Go room at Flamingo might be what they are looking for.

Yeah, I agree. TI is not really close to anything. Probably not the location they%26#39;re looking for.

Huh? Some people say TI%26#39;s location is excellent. Next door to the mall and Mirage, across the street from Venetian, and five minutes from Wynn and Harrahs. What%26#39;s wrong with that?

Just got back from a night at Bally%26#39;s and found it to be a good value as always. Not a five star resort, but great location and friendly staff. We had stayed the previous 3 nights at Caesars comped in the Augustus Tower, but they wouldn%26#39;t comp the fourth so we headed next door to Bally%26#39;s and stayed free. Certainly not the quality of Caesars but I%26#39;m not what I call a hotel diva. I was more concerned about not having to pay for any night%26#39;s room. Bally%26#39;s is clean and has huge rooms. Really cool bar there called Tequilas and a nice Italian restaurant called al Dente. Bally%26#39;s was sold out due to a couple large conventions, but they were able to get us checked in around noon.

Another couple in our group stayed at Flamingo and had to change rooms because theirs was so nasty and smelly. They accommodated them with no problem, but they didn%26#39;t care for Flamingo overall. I%26#39;ve stayed in Flamingo and find it to be OK, but the big downer there are the bathrooms. They are tiny. Bally%26#39;s rooms are much larger.

Stayed at TI several years ago and I liked it. It seems to attract a younger, hipper crowd if that%26#39;s what you%26#39;re into.

checkitout, if you prefer low limit gambling, TI%26#39;s location is definitely less than ideal. It%26#39;s on the northern end of the main part of the Strip and not convenient to walk to anything south of Flamingo. There are no walkways from TI that go across the boulevard so you have to either go north to the mall or south to Mirage, or use the crosswalk. Even just to go next door to Mirage you take the tram because it%26#39;s a rather long walk to the Mirage entrance. And now that the Stardust and Frontier are closed, there%26#39;s even less that%26#39;s nearby.

I%26#39;m not saying it%26#39;s a bad location, it%26#39;s just not as central as a number of other properties.

HD and I loved Bally%26#39;s.

Caesar%26#39;s a little steep but great too.

Mirage is great.

Wynn is fantastic but just a little far north to be the center of things

Would like to try TI...unless I see bad reviews.
