front of line passes - are they legit?

I%26#39;ve been seeing a couple sites that offer front of line passes for clubs such as Moon, Pure, Jet, etc. They range from $50 per person on up to $150 pp with ';VIP'; treatment, etc. This is not table service. Are they legit? Will they be accepted at the door??? Visited Colton%26#39;s site, but he directs you to the host.

Should 4 people going just reserve a table? Is it more cost effective??? Thoughts, please.

Front-of-the-line passes are a crapshoot - they might work, they might not. Sometimes, all they do is let you bypass the main line, then you have to wait in another line with all the other people who have the front-of-the-line passes!

I think it%26#39;s foolish to pay for these passes. You can often get them for free from the hotel concierge or sign up to be put on the guest list which amounts to the same thing.

If you want guaranteed, no-waiting entry to a club and are willing to pay, hire a VIP host or reserve bottle service. Otherwise, arrive early and take your chances.

It really depends on the gender of the group and when you are going. Four girls usually don%26#39;t have a problem getting in, but if there are guys in the group, then it tends to be harder to get in. If you are going during the week, the passes should usually work, but $50 pp is a lot for a front of the line pass. A lot of clubs have promoters walking around the strip handing them out. If you try to use the passes on the weekend, just make sure the club doesn%26#39;t have a special event going on. I talked to some people who bought passes and when they got to the club, couldn%26#39;t use them because of a special event going on and they were out the money they paid. If you are willing to spend $50 pp I would also suggest going through a host. They will be reliable and not scam you.

Stratton made a good point that I forgot, a lot of the clubs have guestlists you can be put on. Try napkinnights.com. I%26#39;ve only heard success stories from people who have used these guestlists. Just make sure to read the restrictions. Some guestlists are for the person signing up and one other guest and some are for ladies only. Again, it all depends on where, when, and the gender.

I used a front-of-line pass once for Ghostbar ($20 per person on a thursday) and it worked (I bought it off the internet and printed the pass up), I went straight to the front of the line and got a lot of dirty looks from the hundreds of people in line. That being said I have heard many people refer to others not being allowed in- but I%26#39;ve never read this first hand from anyone, only read forum members refer to people other than themselves that haven%26#39;t been allowed in but I obviously haven%26#39;t read every thread on the subject. Maybe there is someone here that has been denied in despite paying for a pass and can confirm this firsthand.

Tried the site. I%26#39;m going Labor Day weekend so didn%26#39;t seem to be any guest list available. Should I try through my casino host or do you mean the host at the club? Really want to go to Moon and Playboy club. We%26#39;re staying at MB. 2 girls, 2 guys. I know that a lot is based on the mood of the guys at the door and don%26#39;t want to pay if not going to work. Also, if we pay all that $$ for 4 people and then drink, sounds like a table would be the answer -- but $400 ouch! I would like to hear from more whether they have used this successfully and also on a BIG weekend.
