I%26#39;ll be in LV on the Aug 23rd staying for the weekend at CP. I was wondering which of the Casinos have bars that have video poker. I%26#39;m not a big gambler, I mostly do the pub and club thing so I really don%26#39;t know. But I was asking because some of the people I%26#39;m going with want to know a good bar where they can play video poker and get free drinks.
Thanks.
Which Casinos Have Bars With Video Poker?
Shouldn%26#39;t be a problem for your friends to find them...I think most casinos have them! Just tell your friends to wander the casino looking for a bar area and they usually will have VP at the bartop. Off the top of my head I know that there is one in Bally%26#39;s by where the poker area is, and there are 2 of them in the Golden Nugget casino area....
Which Casinos Have Bars With Video Poker?
i think my co-worker puts $20 into the machine while sitting at the bar %26amp; makes it last for a couple hours---obviously, he loves the free drinks.
he stays at the rio
Baccarat Bar in Bellagio
The good news is, every casino in Las Vegas has bars with video poker screens at the bar. The bad news is, the pay tables on these machines are usually lousy. You%26#39;re far better off playing at a good bank of machines and letting the cocktail waitress bring you your free drinks.
The best place to play video poker on the Strip is at Wynn. Look for the slant-top machines and be sure to check the pay tables before you put your money in. I know of at least one or two banks where there are 6 machines right next to each other where you and your friends can play 9/6 JOB to your hearts%26#39; content.
Beyond Wynn, you%26#39;ll need to go downtown or off-Strip to find good VP.
Thanks for info. I believe one of the older posts mentioned a bar close to the sports book at CP. First time for the people I%26#39;m coming with so they probably don%26#39;t even know or care about the 9/6, so I%26#39;ll probably take them there and have a few free ones myself.
If any of them are serious about it I%26#39;ll send them to the Wynn.
Thanks again.
Ummmm....pretty much all of them. Much more economical to play short pay vp than pay $7-12 for a drink
Any of them on the strip, and most downtown and off-strip. Just be aware most require at least a $20 inserted before your drink is comped.
A lot of locals including myself use this to great advantage. Find a good bar with your favorite game on Saturday afternoon, plop down in a seat, plug the machine with a $20, sit there and enjoy the game, visit, have a few beers, then cash out and get our $20 back without every hitting the deal button.
trick question!
If they%26#39;re there more for the free drinks than the VP O%26#39;Sheas has $0.10 VP on their rear bar. Lousy paytable, but they will keep the free drinks coming while you happily play $0.10 at a time.
In Biloxi, they don%26#39;t care whether you actually play or not, you can just walk up to the bar, get a free drink, tip the bartender, then walk away. They figure you are in the casino, you%26#39;re not there to admire the wallpaper.
Still, if you actually play the machine, even at a 10 cent machine you can quickly lose more money than your drink would have cost.
