Orleans is a great hotel..stayed there two years ago and still one of the top rated hotels for the money. how far to the rio?. if you take the shuttle to the strip that the Orleans offers for free. the first stop is the gold coast which is down the street from the rio. hope this helps

Depending on the time of day and the traffic it will take from 10 minutes to a 1/2 hour from the Orleans to the Rio. That%26#39;s if you drive. You don%26#39;t want to walk unless you%26#39;re into marathons. If you include walking to your car in the Orleans lot then parking and walking into the Rio, add 5-10 minutes. You won%26#39;t save time using valet parking, It seems to take forever for your car to arrive.

The Orleans neighborhood isn%26#39;t great, saw several derelicts begging nearby and there are one or two strip clubs across the street, I%26#39;m told. But it doesn%26#39;t matter much because you won%26#39;t be walking anywhere from there. The Orleans parking lot is very large and you won%26#39;t feel endangered going to your car. It ain%26#39;t the strip, believe me.

what do you mean it aint the strip its better or worse

thanks

Distance about 1.5 miles. Take the free shuttle from Orleans to Gold Coast, and walk to Rio, it%26#39;s just next door to Gold Coast. If you plan on driving, or for some crazy reason you want to walk, just go North on Arville to turn right on Flamingo, and Rio will be on your left hand side.

Not sure what your question means, but Orleans is 3 miles west of the MGM, meaning that you are not on the strip, you will need to take the free shuttle to/from Bill%26#39;s (the strip). Don%26#39;t worry about the neighbourhood, b/c you won%26#39;t be walking outside much; not much outside, a Home Depot, 7/11 store, and a strip mall with Walgreen, and a Starbucks. As the other poster mentioned, Seamless a strip club is next door to Orleans, these are the only things that comes to mind that are withing .5 mile radius of Orleans.
