After extensive reading of the latest reviews it seems the Tower Rooms are favoured by many! Should we pay the extortionate fee for the rooms or book basic and hope for an upgrade - we are in Vegas 10th September so time is short.......
Caesars Tower Rooms
I usually book the cheapest available and then %26#39;tip%26#39; a $20 as I am checking in. If it is not a very busy weekend and there are upgrades available then the desk clerk will help you.
Last Dec., I booked the cheapest room at Caesars and did the above and was upgraded to the Forum tower (from the Classic Tower) to a room with a jacuzzi. Try it.

If you want a specific tower then pay for it.
Upgrades are hit and miss and may not be available.
There is a chance an upgrade will be available but there is an even greater chance that they will charge you an upgrade fee for it. Most folks who get free upgrades have already paid for them with their past wagers.
