luxor or mirage

hello

i%26#39;m stay in vegas for 5 nights in december, i%26#39;m staying in the bellargio for 2 nights and was%26#39;nt sure weather to stay in the luxor or the mirage, i%26#39;m going with my boyfriend and neither of us are huge gamblers, what do you think.

Mirage is a nicer hotel and in a better location but I imagine it costs more. Maybe as you are staying in the Bellagio you wouldn%26#39;t mind being at the other end of the strip for the other nights.

If price was the same Mirage if Luxor was 25% cheaper then go for that. Have you considered Paris?

I would vote for the Mirage as well. Considering it%26#39;s the month of December that you are going, you should be able to get excellent room rates at the Mirage. The location is excellent, as is the location for the Bellagio. If you want you could also check out room rates at Mandalay Bay. That in my opinion is a better property than the Luxor and really has no better location because of the tram between the two.

Mirage if by far the better choice if the price doesnt bother you. There are also a bunch of other choices, Like the other poster said about Paris. You can also look at Planet Hollywood, MGM, Mandalay Bay or even TI that is right next to the Mirage.

I like the Luxor, great architecture and decor, nice big pool area not as jammed as at Mirage. Lower rates, too. The Mirage rooms are OK, but not really worth the high rates they charge

Luxor is near the great Mandalay Bay buffet, and a lot of great mega-resorts to tour, NYNY, MGM, etc

I don%26#39;t care what anyone says, Mirage is the #1 hotel in vegas in my book. Good pool, lots of trees, tropical theme, the thing that put it over the top for me was when they added the gogo girls in the Revolution Lounge letters.

My wife and I also love the Mirage...going there on our 4th Vegas trip in Sept. We seem to get comped well: this trip will be 6 nights, our slot host is comping us 2 nights, the hotel is giving us 3 nights so we only have to pay for 1. Last time we were there the Revolution Lounge was being constructed, and we saw them put up the LOVE letters.

So now there are Go Go girls there?!?! Sweet! :-)

Mirage is your best bet.

If you are giving us just those 2 options...I also vote Mirage.

Mirage all the way a much better pool.
