best hotels with kids?

Need to know age and gender of kids. Young children under 10, Excaliburs is good (but they only have showers, no tub). Pre teen to teen male children, they will think Luxor is cool, and Luxor has an attraction level with stuff for them to do. Arcade called gameworks across the street. NYNY isn%26#39;t bad either, they have a roller coaster, arcade and an ESPN restaurant. Teen girl children, the Flamingo would work, cool pool, across the street from the forum shops. If you can afford it, stay at the Mirage, great pool, next door to forum shops, and the Fashion Show Mall is across the street from TI, which is next door. Do not stay at Circus Circus. If you have a car, you can stay off strip, but you%26#39;ll probably be driving down there all the time anyway, so it might be best just to stay there.

Chipchip.

Colotrvlr, is correct we need a lot more information if you expect anyone to assist you. Otherwise, I hope you have very thick skin, cause you%26#39;re not going to like what response you%26#39;re going to get with the info you have provided us.

One of the better hotels for kids at all ages would be Orleans, they have 70 bowling lanes, movie theratre, a small lame arcade, a special 1 feet ';wading'; pool (goes to 3 feet in the middle) for the kids. Just rent a car and drive to the proper places that would interest your kids......if you can drive in TO, driving in LV will be a breeze.

Cheers.

We just came back from the Flamingo and we loved the pool, water slides, everything. They do have connecting rooms, we paid $55 per room and with the connecting doors and two bathrooms it felt like a suite. I have not been to the Orleans but it looks like a lot of fun and has a childcare center. The rooms look wonderful but no connecting doors. Things are very expensive so you will want to find a way to purchase snacks and sodas elsewhere even if you have to take a cab ride, there are grocery stores within a mile of the strip. I would suggest you bring a collapseable cooler bag like they sell at Costco or Sam%26#39;s Club. You can get all the ice you need from the ice machines for free.

We have not needed a car in Vegas and don%26#39;t recommend it unless you plan to do a lot of driving. It is not needed for casino hopping. Car rental rates do tend to be cheap, just depends on what your needs are.

Stay on strip but out of Excalibur..

Rio offstrip is nice, big rooms, attractive place, but rates are up a lot lately

Stay at:

Luxor

MGM

NYNY

Flamingo (older)

Monte Carlo

TI

LV Hilton is offstrip, on Monorail, and OK if rates are low

Best pools, with kids, MonteCarlo, MGM, Mandalay Bay..Luxor pool big and bright but no special features..TI pool smaller, but gets the job done. Flamingo has very nice pool/garden area..but is a 2nd-line hotel
