My husband %26amp; I would like to rent a house in an upscale area near, but not in the middle of, las vegas. What town/neighborhoods would I look at? What about Red Rock Canyon?

summerlin is very nice as is red rock no houses in the canyon but pretty darn close
Yes, Summerlin is probably what you%26#39;re looking for.... and Red Rock is literally your back yard. There are a lot of rental options in Summerlin - and it feels like a world away from the strip.
With foreclosures being one of the highest in the country you should have no problem renting something; there are many nice areas in and around Las Vegas and also the Henderson area. You might want to contact a real estate agent and tell her/him what you鈥檙e looking for.
Silverado Ranch in the south of the city is nice (I have rented twice here from vrbo.com). It%26#39;s much closer to everything than Summerlin.
