The Orleans Hotel

Has anyone ever stayed at The Orleans? If so, what did you think? I have stayed at most hotels on the strip so we rented a car and decided to stay off strip was trying to find out any info I can.

Thank you!

The Orleans Hotel

we have stayed there twice and we love it. its not that far off the strip, we had a car and it took us maybe 5 minutes or less to get to the strip. the rooms are wonderful. we got a room in the new tower when we stayed there in december and it was really nice. the older rooms are nice as well. i loved the bed. if you do stay there, remember to put in the do not disturb sign or housekeeping will be there bright and early. they do a fantastic job. the breakfast buffet is quite good and a reasonable price. we asked at the front desk for directions to red rock canyon and the man was more than helpful showing us the shortcuts to take on a map. i cant really say anything bad about this place except, they need some kind of system for the shuttle. even if you have been waiting for it, others seem to think they can just cut in front to get on even if they have just walked out the door. but the shuttle does run every 20 minutes or so. the cocktail waitress was always around when needed.

The Orleans Hotel

We have stayed at the Orleans often. It is truly one of the best values in town. Rooms are reasonable , roomy and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful, although if you are there weekdays ut is minimally staffed at the bars and cashiers cages.

Food there is excellent. Particularly the Prime rib loft and Sazios. The buffet is one of the best values in town.

The Orleans is a locals favorite, and it is easy to see why.

I was there two weeks ago, and going back again tomorrow.

Orleans is not what you call a luxury hotel. Don%26#39;t expect much other than a good size clean room.

It has a coffee maker in the room, a safe, a regular TV (no flat screen), and high speed internet hook up.

The casino is also nice, and tables have lower limits than the strip casinos.

I love The Orleans. Large comfortable clean rooms. There%26#39;s 13 different eating establishments from fast food to fine dining (sort of). Huge casino and good drink service. I%26#39;ve noticed that Boyd Gaming has tightened up on their comps somewhat but it%26#39;s a great value. You won%26#39;t be sorry. Great shuttle service to and from the strip and to their sister casino Gold Coastt.

I am staying in the Gold Coast for 10 nights, if one day we fancied a change are we allowed to use the pool etc in the Orleans?

Good to hear, we will be staying there the 26th-30th. cant wait!

Many, many people were punked on this one.

yup 2005 post!

So what? Only YOU can decide if a post is relevant or not. Dates do not matter. Hotels and Vegas never change. YOU can still see the Rat Pack, they%26#39;re just not at the Sands anymore. And they%26#39;re all dead, except maybe Joey? But it%26#39;s still a relevant post, no matter what the age. YOU HAVE TO DECIDE!

Lol Strip!!
