Parasol Down @ Wynn's Lake of Dreams

An earlier post mentioned taking in this multi-media show while sitting at the patio bar on outdoor furniture and order drinks to watch. I%26#39;m staying at the Mirage so, where do I go @ Wynn%26#39;s, cover charge?, dress code?, drinks pricey? ($18.00?) what to expect from the ';show';. Any scoop anyone?

Parasol Down @ Wynn's Lake of Dreams

It was in my thread that the multi-media show was mentioned. I am hoping to find answers to those same questions. Looking at pictures, this looked like a great show!

Parasol Down @ Wynn's Lake of Dreams

When you enter the Wynn, walk through the mall area (Louie, Chanel, other expensive stores) and right in front of the casino there is a staircase that goes to Parasol Down. We were there on a week night around 11pm and there was no cover, and I think we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Drinks were expensive, about $15 for a martini and $10 for a rum and coke if I remember correctly. The dress code is nicer, but not like the clubs (we had leather flip flops and pseudo-dressy shorts/tops and fit in just fine).

The show is incredible - there are many differnt genres, and we stayed for two, one uber-modern, techno style show and another classical show with large silk flowers rising above the screen. I highly recommend this place, we had a great time and think it is probably one of the best (if not the best) free thing in Vegas to see.

Have fun!

There is some video on You Tube of the Lake of Dreams show. You may want to check it out before you head out.

I don%26#39;t have specifics for your question, but I have been to Parasol (up?) which (believe it or not) is upstairs from it%26#39;s sister.

Both areas are quite public, so I can%26#39;t imagine there is a cover. If you walk in the limo/ valet entrance, the Parasol is straight back and to the left, you can%26#39;t miss it. I don%26#39;t know if there is a dress code, but most everyone I saw on the property was dressed well. In other words, fanny packs and anything made of polyester are out. Drinks pricey? OH YES! $18 should get you the average mixed drink. $10 for a beer should be in your budget.

As mentioned, I was there late so I didn%26#39;t see the show you mention, but realize the Wynn is upscale, so if it%26#39;s important to you, dress to impress and don%26#39;t forget your credit card.

Thanks for the info on the Wynn ';show';. I%26#39;ll keep it in mind as something to do while in Vegas!

Been to Parasol down many times for drinks and have Never paid any cover charge nor was dressed in any particular way except for shorts, dress sandals and a collared shirt.

Yes, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side.
