I haven%26#39;t been to the Hooters in Las Vegas and am wondering is it worth bothering with? So, is it worth it for their player%26#39;s card if you are a new member, is it worth it for the girls that work there, is it worth it for any of the slots or table games, is it worth it for their restaurant%26#39;s for selection or prices, or anything else I may have left out. Your answers will determine if I even visit the place in three weeks.
Hooters
Can%26#39;t say I%26#39;ve been there, but the price and location aren%26#39;t bad. My wife and I are headed back to LV in a couple weeks and seriously considered Hoots. The price was low and the pool looked ok. If the place stinks you can walk across the street to MGM, Luxor, Ex (it%26#39;s not as bad as some of the snobs here make it sound), NYNY and pretty close to Mandalay. The tram connects you (via MGM) to the northern hotels. I wouldn%26#39;t chose your hotel based on tight orange shorts though. There%26#39;s other places on the strip that can get you a decent price that you don%26#39;t have to %26#39;take a chance%26#39; on. Try Monte Carlo or Bally%26#39;s for the price. If you wanna stay cheap do Excalibur. (see snobs remark above) I%26#39;ve stayed there twice and although I will not be back due to the timeshare leeches all over the place, I%26#39;ve never been dissapointed. I don%26#39;t expect much either and spend essentially no time in my room either.
Hooters
just from eating their wings here, I%26#39;ll avoid the food!
But I%26#39;ll for sure visit the casino as we%26#39;re staying right next door... are the card dealers also Hooter%26#39;s girls?
:)
Hi
Visited Hooters just to see it and stopped for lunch. Nothing special, food not very good and the girls are just girls, plenty of cocktail waitresses everywhere in Vegas that look as good if not better.
Didn%26#39;t gamble so can%26#39;t help you there the main reason was to go to the gift shop with our son so he could buy keyrings etc to show his friends back home that he had been to Hooters!!!!!!!!!

We stopped in the casino one afternoon. My husband played Blackjack dealt by a hooter girl, was a 10.00 3-2 table and he had a blast. Fun table to play and they were getting them drinks as fast as you could drink them. I had a little luck playing the slots and VP here In fact that was one of the ony casinos we both walked out with money our last trip.
We did eat at Hooters and it was not very good and we didn%26#39;t bother with players cards
It is a small casino with good room rates and a pretty good location. As far as the comps, they seem good. I played $25 a hand blackjack for about 2 hours and have been getting some free room offers. Its worth a trip to check it out, and should be a decent place to stay considering price. But keep in mind it is not the Bellagio or even the Flamingo, but I would rate it above IP,Trop,BGH,and CR.
we%26#39;ve stopped a Hooters during a couple of our last visits. it%26#39;s much smaller than the other casinos, which can be a bit refreshing at times. i really like the inside of the casino. all hardwood flooring, instead of those crazy carpet patterns that the other casinos have! have always had really great drink service there - probably b/c it%26#39;s so much smaller. we don%26#39;t go to ';check out'; the hooters girls, so i can%26#39;t comment on whether or not they improve the overall ';atmosphere'; of the casino.
we%26#39;ve eaten at the sportsbar area, just had some sliders - okay. nothing special.
we%26#39;ve also eaten at the Dam Restaurant (not the Hooters restaurant), and found the food pretty tastey. we only ordered appetizers, but they were a FULL MEAL. had some ';wedge salad'; which was my favourite salad on our last trip to vegas. also shared some pulled pork nachos. we only managed to each about 1/3 of the plate. it was GINORMOUS. seriously, it could feel 6 ppl easily.
We don%26#39;t go to the Hooters here in toronto - so i can%26#39;t comment/compare their ';usual'; food fare, but both hubby and i like to pop in once each trip.
Thanks for the last response. I%26#39;ll be staying there this month and good beverage service is top on our list.
We went in there a few times last year and it is rather small...smokey too. I played the $5 BJ tables and did fairly well. I didnt go to the section where the Hooters Girls are dealers. The drink service is very quick. DH won a bunch of cash on a WOF machine...something like $375 on a .25 machine and then another $180. So we may just have to stop back in there!
