Hi all,
My Daughter and her husband will be on their honeymoon next week, staying at the Orleans. Just a few questions from veteran Orleans guests.
1. are there 2 shuttles that stop in front of the Orleans hotel (one going to Gold Coast the other the strip)? If so how ar ethey marked?
2. What happens if the last shuttle back to Orleans (From Bill%26#39;s) at midnight is completely full???? Are you stranded and have to get a cab?
3. Estimated price of a cab from mid strip to Orleans?
4. I told them to take the #302 bus to get downtown for a night (from Bill%26#39;s area). Is there a 302 stop (coming back) mid strip and down by NYNY? I figure if they get back late (past shuttle time) the cab would be cheaper from NYNY thean from mid strip.
THank you all for your responses,
regards,
joncor
Cab fares Strip To Orleans , Shuttle QuestionsI can%26#39;t answer all of your questions but yes, there are a couple of shuttles. I think though they also have a combo one where it stops at both properties. I noticed on my last trip there they had a sign on the shuttle door which property they were going to. I would imagine if it%26#39;s they miss the last shutlle, they would have to take a cab. It%26#39;s not that far from the strip so I would think 5 or 7 dollars would cover it.
Cab fares Strip To Orleans , Shuttle QuestionsThe shuttle busses are clearly marked so you will have no problem finding the right one.
There is a public transportation bus that stops by the Orleans on Tropicana but I really don%26#39;t know about it. A cab will cost you under $10.
There is no longer a #301/#302 bus on the strip. #302 used to be an express bus going directly downtown but there is no longer an express bus. Both of these busses have been replaced by the Deuce. It makes many many stops on the strip.

We missed the last shuttle last year in July. The cab fare was just under $10.
