Rental Car Help

I was wondering where the best place would be to rent a car. I%26#39;ll be staying at the MGM next tuesday thru Sat. I wasnt sure if id get better rates at the airport or the hotel, or maybe somewhere else. I was interested in using Dollar Rental since I%26#39;ve read about the promo code 234. Can I use this code at any Dollar Rental in Vegas, or are these only good in certain places? Plus any help on which rental service is the cheapest would be greatly appreciated. Im sorry if this is a rehash from other posts, I just cant seem to find my question answered anything that i%26#39;ve read so far. thank you.

Dollar always seem to offer good rates, Especially when renting from the UK, Which i would recommend. That way all the insurances,LDW etc are inclusive. We picked ours up from Bellagio on our last trip but if you want it for the duration of your visit i would recommend picking it up and dropping it off at the airport. That way you cut out the taxi/shuttle bus costs. try the Dollar website for rate comparisons for pick up from different locations.

Just had a look and the rates appear to be the same for either airport or MGM pick up and drop off. I did it using random dates so dont know if it may change.

Try code 895 too. I rented from Dollar and dropped off at the hotel. Very easy. Park on the 5th floor in the Dollar spots when you are ready to turn it it. Write down the parking space and the mileage and go turn the keys in. That%26#39;s it.

pokerface.....since you are so close to your trip, you may (just for kicks) also want to consider giving priceline a try. Go see the best deal you can get from dollar, and then go bid 15% or 20% lower on priceline and see what happens. I use them quite often for Vegas. I usually end up getting Avis or Alamo when my bid is accepted....so it would only be worthwhile if you%26#39;re not totally stuck on using Dollar. Just a thought!

We rent from Dollar, on the .co.uk website; you can reserve and pay in ££££s and just pitch up and drive away. I haven%26#39;t found anywhere on their uk website to input discount codes, and I don%26#39;t know if you can book from the UK on the .com website.

if you DO book on the .co.uk website then do NOT let yourself be talked into buying any additional insurances on check in. All they will try to sell you is personal cover insurances which wil be covered on your travel insurance anyway.

We have a car rented thru Dollar with an airport pick-up and drop-off. Does anyone think Dollar would mind if we dropped off early, but at their MGM hotel point rather than at the airport?

It%26#39;s just we%26#39;re staying in the MGM at the end of the vacation, and it might be easier to drop the rental the night before, have a good drink, then get a cab to the airport for the flight home.

Not a question of Dollar minding, nevada, you%26#39;re the customer. Tell them you%26#39;re collecting at McCarran and returning it to the hotel depot.
