I will be staying at the Rio in August and was curious if the Rio has Top Gun machines and if they do what denominations? If not, how about casinos around the Rio?
Top Gun SlotsBUMP..... I%26#39;m also interested to find out where anyone has seen these....
Top Gun SlotsEscaper....I just looked at Harrah%26#39;s ';Slot Finder%26#39; because I want to play them too!!
Looks like they have Penny Top Gun machines at Rio, Bally%26#39;s, Flamingo, and Harrah%26#39;s in Las Vegas!!
I think I remember others mentioning Mirage and Monte Carlo as well.....
I%26#39;ve played them at Harrahs in KC so assume they are at all the Harrahs properties in Vegas....it is such a weird feeling the first time you play one, because the vibrations and sound make it seem real!
I can%26#39;t wait!! I%26#39;m looking for this machine - sound, vibration, bonus and JACKPOT!!
See you in August!
Cheers,
CS
I remember seeing them at PH.
Tried to play Top Gun last night at local Indian Casino for some additional flight training time for Las Vegas but couldn%26#39;t get on it because there are only two!
There is a bank of 6 Top Gun machines at Rio, off to the right hand side as you walk in the front door. They were installing them when we were there over Memorial Day.
I played Top Gun at a riverboat in Indiana....a lot of fun but I got the feeling actual SKILL was involved in gaining points/dollars; you know ; extra points for hitting your targets...if that%26#39;s the case I think that%26#39;s the first time I%26#39;ve EVER seen that. It%26#39;s always been just a matter of luck in the past....
Stardust--I played it also this last weekend at a riverboat.
I hated it because I got the bonus round and thought I could just watch the plane kill me some points, but I actually had to have some nintendo skills in gunning! I was hoping to get the bonus again and let hubby take over, but ran out of money first.
I would think most men would love that game with all the sounds coming from your chair, and shooting....yikes....not me.
There is no ';skill'; involved in playing the bonus feature on Top Gun. One of the first tims I played it, I thought I had to pick the correct button to ';shoot'; at the jets or control my flight by touching the correct button. Actually, there are 4 buttons to choose from when you are ';flying';. They are random choices and have nothing to do with the credits you see floating in the sky. Same thing when you correctly choose ';engage the enemy'; button. You select one of four buttons and either you picked a ';hit'; or ';miss'; button which will show your missile hitting or missing the enemy%26#39;s jet. Try it, you%26#39;ll like it!
