what do you consider center strip

Seems like most people have their perception of what is considered center strip. What do you consider center strip? or ';where all the actions at'; I%26#39;ve always considered the corners of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd as the center of the strip. That would make Bellagio, CP, Bill%26#39;s and Bally%26#39;s the most centrally loacated. am I wrong in this thought?

what do you consider center strip

I%26#39;ve always ahd a mental picture of Bellagio right in the center.

what do you consider center strip

I%26#39;ve always considered Bally%26#39;s and Bellagio to be most central.

I pretty much consider Paris to be the center. Bellagio is set so far back that it%26#39;s not really all that convenient. Paris is right there on the strip.

The intersection of Flamingo and LVBS.

Between Harmon and Spring Mountain Roads is the highest concentration of hotels and Casinos. Walking to the hotels and casinos between those roads is not to difficult for me. To go anywhere else, I usually take a cab...especially going to the south part of the strip. I don%26#39;t mind waking to the Wynn, but, would not do it in the summer heat.

Go to lasvegasmaps.com.

Agree, Flamingo and LVB. You can make an argument that it%26#39;s not the exact geographic center of the Strip, but it%26#39;s definitely the functional center.

The way the development trend is going, in about ten years the functional center of the Strip may be Harrah%26#39;s.

moot point on center strip for me - since all my action is at Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio or TheHotel. None geopgraphic center, so what.?The action is where you make it. The geopgraphic center is not where many people consider %26#39;center';, again, so what?

Too much emphasis put on ';center strip'; - only important if that%26#39;s the only place you want to be.

We stay centre strip and that means to us: anywhere within a good brisk walk up to 10 mins... say between Mirage Caesars Bellagio across the bridge walkway to Ballys then onto Flamingo Harrahs Venetian. Also sometimes include Treasure Island and Wynn into this group.

We walk anywhere tho, we find it pretty quick to get around on foot. Tonight we went from Harrahs to Planet Hollywood had dinner, then across to Bellagio to see the fountains, then through each hotel to the south of the strip down to Excalibur and then across the road to MGM and finally returned back to Harrahs. Was a 5 hour round trip just walking, sight seeing and played a couple roulette tables quickly! I say quickly, because we were big ol losers tonight.

jenwren, what the heck are you doing wasting valuble Vegas time posting on here whilst you%26#39;re actually in LV. Even more serious than I first thought as you%26#39;ve traveled all the way from Australia!

Get off the computer, enjoy yourselves and don%26#39;t waste any more time. Plenty of opportunity to write the trip report when you get home..... :-)
