15 days to go. Best slots and restaurants?

Hi everyone

going to Vegas in 15 days and the count down is on.

Last time I was there was 8 years ago and i know its changed.

Could anyone tell me the best place to play $1 slots and the best place to eat at the nice restaurants. Price really not an option as long as its good. I%26#39;m staying at the MGM and need something to do on the Sunday night any suggestions?

Thanks heaps

Slots are pure luck, take your pick of places to play them, doesn%26#39;t really matter.

Nice restaurants? I don%26#39;t know what your budget is, when you say money isn%26#39;t a huge issue......to some that means $50 per person and to others it could mean $200 per person. Most of the nicer restaurants are going to be $75 + per person. Let us know a rough idea of how much you are willing to spend and the type (s) of food you prefer so we can better help you.

Thanks for the reply

I have currently booked the Eiffle tower for dinner. Is there any other restaurant that is like this one with great views?

As for types of cuisine not really fussed eg:Indian , Mexican, thai, greek,

Italian. $100 per head no more than that.

Also is there anything to do there on Sunday nights?

Thanks

Have you booked to see any shows, the Cirque ones are fantastic can definately recommend Mystere, we have booked to see ';O'; this time.

Visit Freemont Street Experience for a couple of hours, I always seem to win more there.

Nice restaurant with view - Alize @ Palms, Mix @ Mandalay Bay or Top of the World Restaurant @ Stratosphere. Food better at first 2 the third you really are paying for the view (revolving restaurant - although everyone says its worth it).

Picasso, Le Cirque and Prime @ Bellagio all have views of the fountains...

I have booked two shows.

Legends in concert for Saturday night, and on Monday we have booked Mama Mia.

The restaurant or bar at Mandalay Bay what type of cuisine do they serve?

Also where do I do my best shopping/ which outlet?

Thanks

Jomic

Mix at Mandalay Bay has great views.

Is it wise to book at mix / Mandalay bay?

No problem, the restaurant gets mixed reviews, see the restaurant section on here.

If you really want a nice dinner at a great price then I can really recommend Hugos Cellar in the Four Queens on Freemont Street (Downtown). There is no view as it%26#39;s in the basement but it has a very romatic atmosphere. Old style Vegas. i had my wedding dinner here 2 years ago. Each lady gets given a red rose.

Each entrre (average price $40) comes with a salad made at your table and they are massive which loads of stuff on (eggs, shrimps etc). Also you are servied with sorbet in between courses and chocolate covered fresh fruit. All this is included in the price of the entree (main course). Really you are getting a 3 course meal for around $45 / person in the 2nd best rated restaurant in Vegas. See the Las Vegas restaurants section for reviews.

Have a great trip - I will be going back to Hugo%26#39;s Cellar in October!
