One is boxing the other one is not.Its like boxing, wrestling,street fighting mixed together.

takes place in a caged octogan and the fightere wear small 4oz gloves (to stop fingers breaking rather than protect from strikes)with open hands so they can grapple as well as punch. the rules basically are that you win by either knocking your opponent out, him submitting or the ref stopping the fight. You are allowed to punch, kick, elbow, grap, wrestle in gact almost anything except headbut, break small joints (fingers toes) strike to the throat or groin and kick to the heaad whilst on the floor. Its intense stuff and many people fidn it too raw, there can be a lot of blood and people can get hurt.
